unable to get "UPDATED" emails to stop sending
A few of our users have complained they constantly get the "UPDATED" emails when they have changed their preferences for that project to only send emails on "COMMENTS"
I have verified only 1 instance of the email manager is running and even set the email manager to stop/start twice per day.
we are currently running: v3.7.2 Build 2784

Yes, this is set in the Administration -> Notification page (Email issue creator). |

We have similar problem that appeared around version 3.7. We have just upgraded to version 4.0. |

If you are an issue watcher then you will receive an alert for these issues for any changes to them regardless of your preferences. How would you like to configure your alerts? |

Seems like you are using the mail plugin. You should consider moving to the scheduler service as it will aggregate alerts per issue and will reduce your alerts big time. |
