In addition to Global Groups and Project Groups, 4.0 also introduces... well, Project Groups. I don't know how to describe it -- it's called Groups and it's under the Projects section.

What is the purpose of this functionality? It's not in any of the documentation that I've been able to find.

This is a way to group project together under a category (aka project labels).
So you can ground several projects under the Client X group for example.
