So...I created an initial user, deleted the default "manager" manager user, then created a new user (also named mbeltz) that was domain authenticated and a system manager.

I went back and deleted my standalone "mbeltz" user and now I can't log in with my domain user!

Any ideas?

Seems like you have deleted the domain user.
Can you check that in the gemini_users table? The username should be in the form of DOMAIN\User.
