Is there any way of setting default text for the Detailed Description field (when creating a new issue). Is it possible to do it on a project-by-project basis?

Hi Mark

It would be nice to be able to specify some boilerplate text for the description - to prompt the users to enter the required information. For example, for software products you might have:

Describe the problem:

Describe the steps you performed:

Describe what you expected to happen:


It is mainly for information that you want to capture, but don't necessarily want to have in separate fields. I have seen this functionality in other support request systems (for example, Remedy).
