Telerik dll exception

My Gemini installation has stopped functioning and is throwing the exception below.

I edited some issues and project administration data this morning, but as far as I am aware, made no changes to the site configuration.

How do I resolve this problem?

Exception details

Could not load file or assembly 'Telerik.Web.UI' or one of its dependencies. Strong name signature could not be verified.  The assembly may have been tampered with, or it was delay signed but not fully signed with the correct private key. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131045)

Uploaded the Telerik DLLs again, and the site started up correctly, buy reported a system error. Viewing the system log, I saw the same exception being reported. But in any case, it appears to be working correctly now. Would still be interested to know how this may have happened.

No idea, the only thing I can think of is disk corruption?
