Sub-issues configuration

Hello,

I have two questions regarding sub-issues:

  1. How can I disable sub-issues creation for a specific Issue Type? I see on Gemini Test system, that I am not allowed to create sub-issues (but still can link issues) but wondering how this was configured. On Security Scheme I found only Link Issues permission and this takes no effect on sub-issues.

  2. How can I set, that the Issues of some type (e.g. "Subissue") could be created only as sub-issues and not as a stand-alone issue. I think I saw such configuration in pre-defined Gemini projects which come with the installation, but unfortunately I have deleted these projects.

Unfortunately, you can't control sub issue creation at the type level. Anyone who can edit the issue will be able to create sub issues for it.

The same applies to the 2nd question. a sub issue can be any type as it might be a requirement for the parent with tasks for the subs.
