Gemini Mailbox Administrator

There has been an email account error on the gemini mailbox processing system. The account affected is realmail@domain.com on pop.mail.domain.microsoftonline.com

The error message is IOException occurred. InnerException message follows: Unable to read data from the transport connection: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

The system has disabled this account until the issue can be resolved

The question is:

  • Where is the account disabled?
  • How can I enable the account again?
Google tells me nothing. I had a look to the Administration Interface of the Gemini MBP but I couldn't find any page were I could enable an account...

Thank you for your help in advance!
Cheers!

ANSWER
Hi Thomas,

This error means there was a non network error while trying to process the account. In the event of network errors GMBP will progressively slow it’s processing rate in the hope whatever network problems will go away and it can resume automatically. In this case, it doesn’t think waiting will help so has disabled the account to prevent GMBP adding to any further issues with the account.

To re-enable the account, please log into the GMBP admin website, and from the menu, pick Administration | Email Accounts. You can find the disabled account from there and re-enable it from there. You can also test it from the admin site too.

Please let me know if this does not resolve your query.

Thanks

Simon
