Private Issue
In version 3.6, what is meant by the term "Private Issue" and how can I (in the Gemini Administrator group) remove the padlock icon from an issue (created by another Gemini Administrator and assigned to themselves) in the Issues Grid? The visibility of all fields in all Field Visibility schemes is set to "Everyone (Authenticated)".
I can find no reference to "Private Issue" in any of the Gemini guides.

a private issue is an issue with restricted visiblity. Check the issue visibility (view the issue). |

This issue's visibility is set to 'Everone (authenticated)' as are all the other issues of the same type, yet only this one has the padlock! How restricted does the visibility have to be for the issue to become marked as 'Private'? |

That is enough, if you check your other issues the visibility is probably set to Eveyone |

You're right that only the problem issue has Visibility set to Everyone (Authenticated) so I've set all fields in all Field Visibility Schemes back to Everyone. However, when I try to change the problem issue's Visibility field value to Everyone, it refuses to do so, even though I'm in the Gemini Administrators global group and the relevant Security Scheme has this global group able to 'perform any operation against this issue'. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to delete the offending issue and create it again? |

Can you explain "refuses to do so" when trying to change the visiblity? |

I open the issue, click 'Edit', select 'Everyone' from the dropdown list of the Visibility field, then click the 'Update' button. The result is that the Visibility field is still set to 'Everyone (Authenticated)'. |

Thanks. I've fixed it by changing the value in the database table 'isssues', field ' visibility', from 3 to 1. |
