Project Groups - Do they work with Global Groups

I have set up a number of project groups and security schemes to try and minimise the amount of projects that my developers see on their homepage.

 

Created the project groups - addes the developers to them and then went into the security schemes.

I added the project group with nearly all rights except deleting issues , administering project/issues , closing issues and a couple of other things. All appeared in the bottom part of the screen correctly.

I then added the Global Group of Managers and Gemini Administrators with ALL Authority.

However when i go to the project the only users who appear in the assignable list is the 3 managers/gemini administrators and not the developer.

 

How do i set up my security so the administrators/managers can do everything in all projects but my developers belong to the correct Project groups and those groups can only do a limited amount of things.

Please make sure that you have added the project group(s) to the "Assignable to issues" permission. Next you have to make sure that you have added the users to the project group for the correct project. Remember project group membership is per project basis.

Go to the Administration -> Project Groups page, edit the project group, select the project from the combo box and associate user with the project group for that project.

I have followed the instructions in the Gemini Permissions Quick Guide - Step 2. and your instructions on here but still no luck. I am obviously doing something wrong but cant see what.

 

I have taken screen shots of all of the steps i am following and have them in a word doc - I can send you this if it will help
