Custom fields looking up table data

I must be missing something in the documentation - how do you get the lookup working in custom fields?

I have a table in the gemini database and want to return all the values in one of the columns - is this possible, and what do you enter in each of the lookup fields in the custom field setup?

Yes, this is for list and combo box custom fields.
You need to put in the table name, the id field name (key field name) and the description field name.
