Status "closed" on issue creation

Hi,

how can I set whether an issue can be set to status "closed" on issue creation? This would be handy for adding quick-fix issues that have already been resolved but should be in Gemini for documentation purposes. I've checked all possible setting but I can't seem to find it.

There is no workflow for issue creation so you can set it to any status.

Hmm... that's interesting, because the "closed" status is coming and going on the issue creation page... meaning one time it is selectable as a status, the other time it is not there... I haven't been able to figure out why this happens... thought maybe there's some setting I'm changing without knowing it has this effect.

That is becuase the user doesn't have the "Close Issues" permission.

The user does have the permission, I checked again. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't with the same user.
