Component is mandatory when setting Default Vaules for a project

web-app

When setting default values for a project the 'Component' is mandatory, where as 'Assigned To' and 'Affected Versions' aren't.  Also, it doesn't have a '<None>' option as is the case for 'Affected Versions'.

Should this be mandatory?

If it is intentionally mandatory, can a '<None>' option be added?

I am using v3.5.3 (Build 2390).

The component is mandatory as every issue must be associated with a component. You can create a "No Component" component and default to it.

As for the "Affected Versions", this is a multi select listbox, simply don't select any version (you can CTRL+click on a selected version to unselect).
