Errors about /_vti_bin/sitedata.asmx in the System Log

web-app

Hi. I have this error repeating over and over every 5 minutes in my System Log. Everything appears to be running fine; should I be concerned? I tried searching the forums and Google, and I was surprised not to find any results...

Thanks, Patrick

ANSWER

Seems like you have a process that is looking for this non existing web service. Gemini never calls this file.

Alright. That helps me put two and two together. We run Gemini on our TFS server, and the website is at the root of the server on port 80, not in a virtual directory. Something must be looking for SharePoint at that location.

Thanks very much.
