possibly a hint: When I allowed anonymous login the (new) user who ran into that problem could see all issues via the search button, but was greeted with "no projects to display" on the home screen.

Which version of Gemini are you running?
When exactly do you get this error? Is the error coming from Gemini or IIS?
Are you using windows authentication?

You will get that page if the user doesn't have access to Gemini. Did you add the user (DOMAIN\User) to Gemini?
Also, on the access denied page (windowsaccess.aspx) does it show the user name? If so then please make sure that you have disabled anonymous access in IIS for the Gemini site.

The user is listed as active in the userlist. doman is included.

on the access denied page, the user name is not shown.

anon access is disabled.

However, if i check "allow user registrations" the regristration screen will appear. This user can not register, though, because the userame (DOMAIN\user) is already taken.

Does it only happen to this one user or to all?

Can you please send an email to support at countersoft dot?
We will remote in to see if we can solve the issue.

Happened to just a few users. Only those not in our department.

Switched Authentication on the website (IIS): not only windows authentication is checked but also standard authentication w/ password as plain text.

Now it works fine. (Almost. See my next fresh issue :-))) EDIT: Just found out this new issue is fixed in 3.6.3. Fine!

Thanks for your help and efforts!!
