Gemini and Team Foundation Server / Sharepoint

Hello there,

I'm currently having some problems installing Gemini on a Server that already has TFS and SPS installed.

Upon navigating to http://localhost/Gemini I am constantly receiving

"Es kann keine Verbindung zur Konfigurationsdatenbank hergestellt werden".

(My translation: Can not connect to configuration database)

Oddly, this seems to be a Sharepoint -related message.

Is there a general problem with Gemini and Sharepoint on the same server?

Well, this is just a wild guess,

but it seems as if Sharepoint will indeed interfere with all Webapplications on the default site. At least I could not stop it. And as I also could not make Gemini run "under sharepoint" I solved my problem with a dirty solution: Setting up a new virtual site on a different port.

Now everything looks okay (at first glance!)

I think by default Sharepoint will hijack all traffic on the HTTP port.

Hence your solution is OK.
