Status Change on resource assignment

Is there a way for me to configure Gemini so that it automatically changes the status of an issue from "unassigned" to "assign" whenever someone assigns a resource to an issue?

Unfrotunately, not at the moment. Gemini will do so if you assign a resource at issue creation but not afterwards. See http://gemini.countersoft.com/Default.aspx?p=2&i=350
