Dashboard - Edit Status

Can you tell me why I can not edit the status of an item from the Dashboard\My Work view, but I can from the Project\Items view? It seems that I can edit the resolution, start date, due date, etc from the Dashboard\My Work view, but not the Status....

Works ok for me. Is it the status field or status description field you are viewing?

Status Description.... When I changed this to Status it worked! Thanks
