Automatically Login Users?

Hello,

We are using Windows authentication with Gemini. However, when a user goes to Gemini, it prompts them for their username and password (DOMAIN\Username). I want to make it so that when a user visits the site it checks their UN and PW and automatically logs them in. Is this possible?

Yes, that should be the case.
Do you get the login box all the time?
Are the users logged on to the domain?

Yes, we get the login box all of the time. The users are logged into the domain.

Are you using IE? If so then please make sure that you have "Enable windows Authentication" set in the Tools -> Advanced setting page under security.

Bingo! So we'll have to do that for each user? Is there a setting we can change in IIS to automatically use their login credentials?

Unfortunately, yes.
As far as I know this is allowed by default when installing IE, but for some reason your setup is different.
