filter with custom field

hi,

I'm using Gemini ver 3.5.4
I am using a drop down custom field which works well, but I cant get the private filters to use it.
Every time that I try to define a private filter with some value in that custom field, the filter "ignores" it as if I haven't selected any option at all.
Any ideas?
