V 3.5.3 My watched issues does not get filled

web-app

When I select "watch this issue" on an issue, I can see myself being added to Issue Watchers but "My Watched Issues" remains empty.

Is that a bug or am I doing something wrong here ? If it is a bug, is it already reported and eventually fixed in a later version than 3.5.3 ?

TIA
Frank

We have not seen this before, is the issue closed or has restricted visibility?

Yes, it is closed. Is the watching limited to open issues ?

My goal was to have a way of grouping issues that I need to retest.

We do not show closed "watched" issues as the list will get longer and longer as you close your issues.
The issue should not be marked as closed really, it should be set to a "retest" status, no?

I agree that your design is correct to avoid longer lists of issues.

Our scenario:
We have applied some changes to our software and I need to make sure that all related issues still work correctly.
Reopening all issues might result in a lot of messages to mail subscribers where I am actually not changing the issues, but just retesting them.

I will consider your advice of a "retest" status ( which we currently do not have yet ) and will try that.

Thanks for your fast support !
