Notifications to the "Reported By" user

Is there something special that I need to do so that this user receives notifications for the ticket?  The Assigned Resource user received their notices happily, but the Reported By user doesn't seem to.

Did you set the automatic alert for issue creator to yes (admin -> notifications)?

Currently set to No, I thought this was related to the person that creates the ticket?
For us, the "Reported By" user is not necessarily the person that created the ticket, they are the person that has reported the issue.

Which person should the notice go to?  Creator or Reported By?

This option will send alerts to the "Reported By" user, so if you set it to yes it should work as expected.
