Change Log in issue-updated e-mail messages

Recently, I started receiving e-mail messages from Countersoft's Gemini install where I hadn't received any previously regardless of my settings. Great!

I noticed something interesting, though: the update messages contain a Change Log table after the list of field values at the beginning of the message. It shows what field changed, the old value, and the new value. Our copy, which is v3.5.4, does not have this, and it's something we sorely miss (and always had with Bugzilla). How do we enable this? If it's a custom patch that Countersoft has applied, are there plans to formally incorporate it into the product?

That is the default functionality of the scheduler service. I presume you are using the mail plug-in.

If so, please install the scheduler service and configure Gemini via the Administration -> Notification section.

Interesting! Are there any other differences between the two? Without that change history, the update messages are pretty much useless, but if switching will cause other problems, we'd like to be prepared.

In my opinion using the scheduler is much better as it batches updates for an issue.

So you don't get 5 emails for the same issue as you would with the mail plugin.
