Can't update the Status or Resolution of an issue

web-app

I updated my 3.1 version of Gemini to 3.5 today and went to review some of the new features. When I tried to update an issue in a project that I had full rights to, I couldn't find anywhere to update either the status or the resolution. After much searching the only place I could find to update either of these two values was by doing a bulk update on the project and only selecting my specific issue. Is this really the only way to update these values? Why can't I update them via the Change or Edit links in the issue itself?

Any ideas?

I'm really excited to start using Gemini, but I need to get these things figured out first before I can convince the rest of my group to use it.

Thanks.

Can you please make sure that you have these fields set to be visible on issue edit (field visibility scheme)?

Also, please double check your permissions on the project.

I checked out the Edit Issue Scheme in the field visibility schema area and found that both Status and Resolution were unchecked. I checked them and set the security group and this fixed it. I would think that these would be checked by default in the edit issue schema. What is the reasoning behind these not being checked by default?

Thanks for your help getting these fixed.

This was overlooked for the database shipped last week. It is been rectified over the weekend.
