Customerize Issue creation?

Hi,

I would like to know how could we customerize the "issue creation screen", say remove fields like "Issue Priority" "Affected Versions" etc etc?

Had tried the field visibility schemes but seems not helpful.

And can we change field name as well for some others?

Current version : 3.5.2

Field Visibility Scheme is the way to do so.
These apply at the issue type level. For each issue type you associate a field visibility scheme for create, edit and view. Simply amend the relevant visibility scheme to hide these fields.

You can rename any field / label in Gemini via the relevant Resource.xml under the languages directory.

Make sure you have assigned the corresponding field visibility schemes to the issue type which creation you want to customize and that it is assigned for Create Issue Mode.

Administration - Issue Type - Edit - Field Visibility Schemes dropbox.

Also make sure you are logged under the user for which selected fields on field visibility scheme which you want to hide are not available.

Cool. I can see now why field visitbility scheme doesn't work fr me before.

Sorry this is additional, but how can I customerize the toolbar items (Home, Administration, Create issue ...Time, My Work... ) etc? Can I remove some of those?
