Visual Studio 2008 Addon and Integrated Authentication

web-app

We have been using Gemini 2.2x with integrated Windows Authentication with no problems.  I recently updated us to Gemini 3.1 and it works fine, also using integrated Windows Authentication.  However, I installed the Visual Studio 2008 Addon and it appears to only support forms authentication and we can't log on.  Is there are way to setup the addon for integrated authentication?  If not, this is a major issue for our developers and I may have to rollback the installation.  Thanks,

Unfortunately, windows authetication is not possible with the add-ins at the moment.

Is there a workaround or any roadmap for this?  As I said, we don't want to rollback since we are a full major version behind and the new version is working for us, however, the Visual Studio Integration is pretty key to our team.

We are looking to do this for the 3.5 release of Gemini.

You can still use the add-ins but you will have to login manually by entering the username (DOMAIN\User) and your Gemini password.

Thanks for the quick reply.

First, I did use our domain username and password and still had no luck logging in.  Maybe I have something setup incorrectly.

Also, I wanted to let you know that the old visual studio integration still works.  I don't remember which version we are using but it is the version with no installer.  You just put the dll in the right place and run the registry file to install it.  I think we'll probably keep using that until the VS 2008 Add-ins are updated.
