v3.1.0 Build 2179 - Wrong Project when editing/updating an Issue

web-app

To whom it may concern,

I have a Gemini user that is experiencing an issue when editing an issue.

When the user is in project "Project 123", and selects an issue to edit, the edit screen comes up with "Project ABC" in the project field/combo box (which is protected/disabled).

When I try to recreate this issue I am unable to.. it works fine and shows the correct project.

I have double checked the security schemes, global and project group assignments, along with Project Admin settings and can't find anything that is jumping out at me that could be wrong.

I did a search and saw that a similar issue to this was resolved back in 3.0.1? (I think)

Please advise anything I can try to resolve this issue.

In the meantime, I am going to see if anyone else is have the same problem.

Thanks for your time.

Can you check if the project is archived? Also, please double check that the user has edit permission for the project.

Projects in question are not archived, however the Security Scheme I have assigned to the project in question has no users or groups assigned to "Edit Issue", but I had two Global groups assigned to "Edit Own Issue".  I assigned the user with the issue to "edit issue" and it solved the problem.

I have the Global Group, "Everyone (Authenticated)" assigned to "Edit Own Issue", thinking that will only allow users to edit their own issues.  Do all users need to be assigned to "Edit Issue" as well in order to avoid the subject issue?  Seems like it defeats the purpose, or am I missing something?

This seems like a bug: http://gemini.countersoft.com/Default.aspx?p=2&i=2306

We will fix this for the next release, 3.1.2, which is due out soon.

Inline edit should work.
