Hiding Issue Title on Create Screen?

Is it possible to hide or disable the Issue Title (and other non-custom fields) on the Create Issue Screen? There is no option to in the Field Visiblity Scheme configuration.

This is not possible as it is a mandatory field.

We have a project where users will be creating tickets in a standardized format with only drop-down boxes for them to use. We do not want them to enter any free-form text (so the title and description fields are not necessary for this project).

Today they are forced to enter a title and description, although we do not need those fields. We were hoping to hide them in this particular project.

With source code license it should be quite easy to do.
