Error page after upgrade to 3.6.5 (Required permissions cannot be acquired)

web-app

I followed the manual to the letter, three times (just fyi), and only modified the web.config that came with the 3.6.5 (so i assume I'm using the current one). checked the SQL server permissions for the connection string...a-ok. changed the authentication to windows and turned on identity impersonate (didn't work either way, same message).

Which version of IIS are you running?

Aer you running the site in medium trust?

Also, what is the identity for the application pool? Try setting "Load user profile" to true.
