Extra system users?
We seem to have two extra users in our Gemini, one called "Gemini Scheduler" and one called "sa sqlserver"
Are these required to make the Scheduler work?

These are not part of Gemini install. It seems that someone has created the "Gemini Scheduler" user for the scheduler service to be able to send email alerts. No idea about the 2md one. |

But the Gemini Scheduler user isn't necessary for the scheduler service to work surely? I can't see it in use anywhere in the admin. |

You will have to check the scheduler config file to see which user is used to log in to gemini. |

The config for the scheduler is on the server that the service is installed (file) it is not in the database. The scheduler needs an admin user (usually) so it can log in read (alerts) and create issues (mailbox processor). You can use any user as long as the user has the correct rights. |

[/quote]Yeah I know, but I don't have access to the servers to check it. Well I assume thats what the Gemini Scheduler user has been set up to do, guess I'll have to ask about the other one. Thanks for your help. |
