Concatenating 2 DB fields in Custom Field Value?

I'm trying to add a custom field called Secondary Resources which is a List box with multiselect on, which I would like to populate with the names of the Gemini Users.
However I can't get it to accept more than one field name in the Lookup description field name.

Should I create a new field in the users table or is there a way to concatenate firstname and surname in this field?

Best way to do this is by creating a view on the users table that will add the column you are after.
