Component Lead empty

I've just migrated from version 2.2 to version 3.0.1 and can't set the Component Lead in any of the components. The list is always empty. What can be the problem?

Component lead is a new feature of 3.0. You will need to populate it.

I understand that. The problem is that I can't populate these fields because the dropdown list is empty. However if I go to the SQL Server table gemini_components and update column userid it works. The same happens with the project lead.

Just start typing in the name and the list will be populated.
