No issues found in Dashboard

The new Dashboard function in version 3.6 doesn't seem to be working for us. On the homepage the counters are always zero and on the dashboard page we always see the line "no issues found". Everything else is working fine.

Does someone know what can be wrong?

Which counters on the homepage show 0 all the time?
The dashboard page will only show issues with due dates.

I mean these counters on the homepage:

Dashboard

0 open issues  0 issues due this week  0 issues overdue

 

When I enter a due date of e.g. 17/2/2010 I see the item on the dashboardpage under Next but the counters on the homepage still show zero issues due this week.
