Problem with Scheme Set up.

Hello,

 

I have Gemini installed and several projects set up. The specific functionality I am having trouble implementing is having a Scheme set up for a tester and a Scheme set up for an Engineer. The Tester is allowed to: Create Issue, Create Comment, Update Issue Progress, Assign Resource, View Project. The Engineer is allowed to: Create Comment, View Project. The problem is I would like the Engineer to be able to Change the Resolution of an Issue without being able to change the Status of the issue. As soon as I give the engineer the ability to Update Issue Progress he can do both. Is there a way to decouple these. It seems like the person working on the issues should not be able to close the issue out, just say that it is resolved and the tester can verify this and close it out. I also would like to know how to disable the edit feature of comments so that they can not be edited once they are created.

Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. We are working on this for the next release, 3.0, which is due out Jan 2008.

We are planning on releasing a BETA (hosted by us) this week. We do not have official ETA for the release yet, but should be end of Jan / start of Feb.
