Setting up E-Mail Alerts

I'm completely new to Gemini, and have done some forum searches, but I am totally stumped on how to setup the E-Mail alerts plugin.  Any guides available or someone willing to help?

Tommy,

Email Alerts plugin is installed with Gemini. 

Simply go to Administration --> SMTP Configuration and put in your SMTP parameters. Then click Test to see if emails have been sent.

Then go to Administration --> Notifications and ensure the MailPlugin has been selected as the alerts engine.
