Switched to Windows Authentication, does not allow users to signup

web-app

I edited the web.config and switched to windows authentication, and then hit the Gemini website.

It brings me to a login page called "New User Registration".  It wants me to enter my username, password, my name, surname, email, and comments.

I try to fill in the username field, but it does not allow me to type anything into it.

Questions:

1.  Why am I not allowed to type anything into it?

2.  If this is using windows authentication, why do I need to fill in any of this information?  It should be looking it up from active directory.

Gemini does not currently support active directory, that is why you are asked for the info.

However, the user name should be pre-populated, if it is not then make sure in IIS you do not allow anonymous access in the directory security.

You can find more info in our doc: http://countersoft.com/downloads/csfiles/CounterSoftGeminiv310_Documentation.zip

Gotcha,

I would put in a feature suggestion for adding Active Directory support.

At anyrate we are now evaluating another product (Ontime 2008 from axosoft) which has AD support.
