v3.0.4: Turn off Email Notifications from Web Services CreateIssue?

I'm writing a program using Gemini 3.0.4 Web Services. CreateIssue is working great to create a new issue. However, it sends an email notification with each new issue, even when "Email Alerts Enabled" is set to No in Gemini administration. Can I configure it so it does not send the email?

Ok, seems like a bug: http://gemini.countersoft.com/Default.aspx?p=2&i=2101

If you reboot the web app it should work and not send the alerts.

Thanks! That addresses my global issue.

Is there any way to change the notification behavior on a more granular level when I use the web services method? Ideally, I'd like issues submitted via the web services to have different notification behavior than issues submitted via the Gemini web interface.
