Can't get Desktop 3.7.7(2784) to complete its startup

Installed 3.7.7 Desktop. I found the tiny login button and filled in my info then clicked login. The login box disappeared. Then in the lower left it said Fetching... while the thermometer in the lower right edge increased. When the thermometer reached full scale, one issue from one project displayed in the smaller lower pane, and the main/upper panel and its icons was grayed out. The icons in the displayed issue are "bad icon" symbols, and no info on the displayed issue is showing. There are hundreds of issued in my Gemini. The lower left continued to display Fetching... forever (well, 10 minutes while I typed this note).

I tried the .../gemini/api/admin.ashx/test test in the browser, it comes back "OK".

I am running 3.7.2(2784) and it's working just fine. Desktop 3.6 was working fine as well just before I installed 3.7.

From the error it seems like you have some issues with a type that is not in the issue type scheme that the project is using. Are you able to check that?

What you can try is adding all types to the scheme and restarting the desktop app.

With that as a hint I played around and got it to come up. I think it was in the severity scheme. Strange it worked fine in the browser :-)
