Issues visibility

web-app

Hi,

I have 2 uses in the group Gemini administrators, and I've set in the default security scheme all rights to the Gemini administrators group (View/Delete and etc.. everything).

Then I've created a project with this default security scheme, and created an Issues with the visibility set to "Everyone" and assigned it to one of those 2 users in "Gemini administrators" group (me to be precise).

When the other user logs in and visits this project he doesn't see any issues. What should I do to make issues visible to everyone in this group?

Thanks in advance.

It is even more strange that when I modify this issue to anisigned, the other user see the list of resources(in the main project window on the left)

Like this

Resources

User 1 - 0 User 2 - 0

And when I assign this issue to me again the other user sees that table different, I mean it sees that two users(resources) are different

Like this

Resources

User 1 - 0 (yes still zero issues)

User 2 - 0

but now those 2 users are separated because in truth User 1 has 1 assigned issue.

Please check that your security scheme does not have the view own issue permission set.

It was set at first, but I've removed it quickly. So when I've created initial message it was not set.

One more thing. If I pass a direct URL of an Issue(ViewIssue.aspx?id=1&PROJID=1) to the other user, he CAN visit this url and see it, so I guess this is not a permissions problem.

The other user just can't see issue added by me and assigned to me in the list of issues (in Project Summary, Road Map,...), and this is bad because I cannot notice the other user which task I have taken from the list of tasks.

If I assign issue to both me and him, he can see this issue in the list, but this is logically incorrect.

Is it possible to provide us with a zipped back of your database? If so, please send to support at countersoft dot com

We have not seen this before and can not replicate it.

Hi, I've backed up and RARed the DB and sent it to support. The subject of message is "DBBackup on your request. (Invisible tasks)".

Will be waiting for any news, I've easili reproduced it on another computer so I guess this is either a configuration mistake or a bug.

PC configuration: Vista Ultimate (no SP1), MS SQL Server 2005 Development edition, same thing on another PC with Enterprise SQL.
