Windows authentication

desktop
add-ons

My laptop is not on the domain, its just a stand alone computer, like "computer\username".  But gemini runs on a member server of a domain, like "domain\username".

When logging in through IE or Firefox we all use our domain\username accounts to log in, we are using Windows Authentication.

But when I try to use Gemini Desktop in "windows authentication" the form defaults to "computer\username" and then disables the field, it doesn't let me change it.

So basically I can only use Gemini Desktop if its running on a computer part of the same domain and I'm logged in as the same user matching domain\username in Gemini.

How do I override that?

ANSWER

You should be able to right click on the desktop exe file and select "Run as" to run the desktop application as the domain user.
