Is knowing of ID enough to determine issue URL?

Hi there,

we are running Gemini 3.7.0 with multiple projects. We need to show issue web page. We have only issue ID, no any other information. Is it possible? I guess that it should be, because issue ID is unique. Right?

We tried it and we noticed that it works only in some cases. There are steps to reproduce:

1. Open the browser and put his URL: http://gemini.countersoft.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?ID=3743
-> It works.
2. Now put this URL: http://gemini.countersoft.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?ID=4040
- It doesn't work. You see the Welcome page istead of issue page.

It seems that it works with issues of same project. In other case it doesn't.

I know that URL in Gemini uses also PROJID parameter, but we don't know it. We have only information on issue ID to display the web page.

Any sugesstions?

You should use the default page for that:
http://..../default.aspx?id=ID HERE

Yes, this has been there since 2.0 and will be there for the foreseeable future.
