Obsolete tables in database?

I noticed that in Gemini database are tables with "gemini_" prefix. There is also similar set of tables without that prefix. I guess it is since an upgrade. It seems that tables without prefix are older (obsolete) May I delete them?

Yes, we ship a script (Upgradev3-0-Step3Optional.sql) that deletes the old 2.x tables
