Navigate to deleted issues

I clicked to link (URL) to an issue. It navigates me to the projects overview page instead of issue page. Strange. After some investigation I found that the issue has been deleted. It would be helpfull to inform user about that. What do you think?

Not sure about that one. Issues have visibility in which case you shouldn't know if it has been deleted.

Sorry, I don't understand what do you talking about.

My ideas is: When you cliking to the URL which links to the deleted issue then show a page with some notification. For example:

"The issue XXX has been deleted".
or (if you want to be less accurate)
"The issue XXX was not found".
