Feature request - 'Watch' programmatically

Hi all,

Could you tell me if there already is (and in case of no - if it can be considered) a feature similar to 'Watch', but allowing programmatic (web service?) subscriptions based on issue modification events?

Sample use case 1: internal tracking system needs to perform custom action in case issue #xxx is resolved

Sample use case 2: internal tracking system needs to perform custom action in case comment is added to gemini issue in project #zzz

I would imagine similar functionality may be available via REST API for notifications and notification WSDL schema may be fixed / URL set from administration screen...

This is not possible out of the box. However, you could create a plugin for this. a Gemini plugin can listen to issue created, updated, closed etc... See our twitter plugin for a sample: http://www.countersoft.com/downloads.aspx
