Unable to send Email Alerts

Hi,

We just upgraded from 2.0.5 to 2.2.2 and are having problems with email alerts.

We are using the email plugin to send alerts. Clicking the test button works and sends out the test mail.

However when alert is triggered, like updating an issue, the following errors appear in the System Log.

Socket connection was aborted by remote host.

We the application is running under IIS windows 3003 SP1, with windows authentication enabled. Verbose SMTP logging is also enabled in the application.

This might be a permission issue.The mail plugin is running under a less privileged user.
