Accentued characters in email notification subjects

Hi,

I've customized email notification templates to use translated sentences. It works fine except for the subjects : I can't find the way to have it use my accentued characters. Did anyone succeeded ? Thanks in advance. Best regards, Arnaud

Try saving the template fil as unicode.

I've edited the file in Notepad++ and encoded in UTF-8 but it didn't change anything...

Can you post a sample of the chars you are using?
Are you using the mail plugin or scheduler service?

I'm using the SchedulerService.

Here is an example of the customized subject in SubjectLineIssueCommented.en-GB : Commenté

I have just tested this and it works fine. Note that you MUST save the file as UTF8. I did it with Notepad (winodws one) and it did the trick!

You're totally right :) Don't understand why it didn't work when I did the same thing with notepad++.
