Performance Issues

After the upgrade from 2.x to 3.x, the performance of Gemini has been drastically reduced.   Is there anyway to increase performance by deleting the old 2.x tables from the Gemini DB?   The size of the Gemini DB doubled after the migration because all of the old 2.x tables still exist.

3.5 should be much faster than 2.x. What pages are slow?
Also, please make sure that the database size increase setting is set to a resonable value (say 100mb) and not 10% or 10mb as it might fragment the data.

To delete the old tables please run Upgradev3-0-Step3Optional.sql
