Email notification did not work...
In our company we are currently using version 2.0.5 version of the Gemini system, and we tried to upgrade to your latest version last night. Everything seem to work fine until I got to the SMTP configuration, I configured everything with the same settings of the prior version and to our surprise it did not work; no emails were coming out of the Gemini system at all, same email server same credentials to the email account. Tried putting with the Scheduler or the mailplug-in nothing.
There was only one difference with 2.0.5, in authentication there's Basic in the new version there's None, tried that did not work, tried with Auto did not work. The log was stating that no response was being received from the mail server. By putting it in NTLM it responded that authentication is not supported, so it did get a response from the email server in this case.
At the end everything got so frustrating that we roll back and setup the prior version again, which works perfectly, so I'm going to try to setup a test site where we can further test this. So if you any recommendations that you may have please let know of.
