I've tried all sorts....

We have a heavily customized front end, and the background of our images are appearing in grey. I've tried to modify .a  backgrounds and stuff, to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using IE6 by any chance?

PNG files do not render correctly in IE6 but are OK in FF and IE7.

We do shp the GIF versions so you can change image names via Administration --> Issue Status for example.

Issue resolved itself, just went away. Must have been cached or something weird like that.
