Error upgrading from 2.0.5 to 2.1

I just tried to upgrade to the new version using the exe installer and received an error saying the upgrade script could not execute.

Here is a screen shot of the error:

Should I just try and manually run the script?

I fixed my problems by doing a manual install from the zip file.

OK, now I have different problems.

I keep getting an error stating that the aspnet_CheckSchemaVersion stored procedure is missing.

Do I still need to execute the InstallCommon.sql and InstallProfile.sql into the gemini database (which in my case is called ProjectManager)?

Yes, you need to setup the aspnet profiile database. Make sure you set the connection string for the profile database in the web.config file.

OK, do I need to run both sql scripts or just the InstallProfile.sql script?

If this is a new profile database then you have to run both (common first). If it is an existing one that does not have the profile tables then only profile script should be run.
