Use of AD Groups - AD Integration

web-app

I have groups defined in Active Directory, and would perfer not to maintain them in AD and gemini.  Can gemini use AD groups when configuring security groups?  If so, how?

Thanks,

Aaron

Unfortunately, Gemini doesn't work with AD at the moment. The 2 are completely separated.

Hello Gemini developers and community,

Could we expect any progress in this matter?

This seem to be very interesting feature, being able to manage AD groups only and having Gemini follow them.

Yes, this should be done for 4.0, which is out by the end of the year (Dec 2010)

Thank you for your answer, Mark.

I'm sorry if you consider my next question as off topic, but more or less it fits it.

Recently I found that Gemini v3.7 doesn't recognize me (Integrated Windows Authentication on IIS7) when I use Firefox 4 beta, prompting me to input an username and password. I provided my credentials and it recognized me quickly. Probably it is possible to provide credentials of user different than the one logged on the local workstation. It works pretty perfectly when I use Internet Explorer 8.

Is that a Gemini problem or rather Microsoft/Mozilla problem? Or maybe this is a problem specific to our local conditions?

Thanks in advance.
